The Correct & Simple Way to Check Status by Mobile Number

The process on the official portal has been updated and is now much easier. You no longer need to find your registration number first. Follow these simple steps:

  1. First, go directly to the official PM Kisan Beneficiary Status page here.
  2. You will see options to search by “Mobile Number” or “Registration No.”. Make sure you select the Mobile Number option.
  3. Enter the 10-digit mobile number that is linked to your Aadhaar and PM Kisan account.
  4. Carefully type the text you see in the image box (the “Captcha Code”).
  5. Click the “Get OTP” button. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number.
  6. Enter the OTP you received and click “Get Data”.
  7. Your full beneficiary status, including payment details and any error messages, will be displayed on the screen.

What Your Status Actually Means

When your status appears, don’t just look for your name. Check these three critical fields to ensure you will get your money:

  • eKYC Status: This must show ‘Success‘. If it doesn’t, you must complete your eKYC immediately.
  • Land Seeding: This must show ‘Yes‘. If it shows ‘No’, it means your land records are not verified. You need to contact your local Tehsil or Patwari office with your land papers.

  • Aadhaar Bank Account Seeding Status: This must show ‘Yes‘. If it shows ‘No’, your bank account cannot receive the payment. You must visit your bank branch and ask them to perform “Aadhaar NPCI Seeding” for your account.

What if my mobile number is not registered with PM Kisan?

If your mobile number is not registered, you cannot use this method. You must first link it by completing your eKYC. You can do this at a CSC center or through the official portal’s eKYC page, which uses an Aadhaar OTP sent to the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar card.

I am not receiving the OTP on my mobile. What should I do?

First, check that you have entered the correct mobile number and have network coverage. Try clicking the ‘Resend OTP’ button after a minute. If you still don’t receive it, it’s possible there is a temporary issue with the portal or mobile network. Try again after a few hours. Also, ensure your mobile plan allows for incoming SMS.

Can I change my registered mobile number online?

You cannot directly change the mobile number. The mobile number used is tied to your Aadhaar eKYC. If you update the mobile number on your Aadhaar card, you may need to perform the eKYC process again for the PM Kisan portal to fetch the new number.
